Mangalore, Nov 9: An exhibition of paintings by the late Sanjeev Shetty was inaugurated at Prasad Art Gallery on Saturday November 8. Well-known journalist Manohar Prasad inaugurated the programme and said that the dreams of Sanjeev Shetty are incomplete. Therefore, young artists have the obligation of fulfilling his dreams, he opined.
Prasad added that the late artist had given a new dimension to crayon paintings. A video CD produced on the life and achievements of Sanjeev Shetty, was also released on the occasion.
Trevor Pinto, president, artists’ combine, presided over the function. Artist Kotiprasad Alva and Federation of Bunts’ Association president Ajitkumar Rai Maladi, were present on the occasion. Ganesh Somayaji welcomed the gathering.
