Reliable sources have said that the Lokayukta has instructed the CS that "Lokayukta is striving to control corruption. However, the government is not responding properly. As various complaints were received, we have conducted investigation against the accused officers and have recommended the government to take action immediately. However, the government is not taking our instructions seriously. Instead of taking action against the erring officers, the government is seeking an explanation from them.
