Mangaluru, Sep 27: Fr Walter D'Mello who was judicial vicar of the diocese and resident priest at St Theresa Church, Paldane for the last year is appointed by Mangaluru bishop as the parish priest of Infant Jesus Church, Modankap.

Fr Walter D'Mello took charge on September 26 from diocese representative Fr Henry Sequeira in the presence of diocese vicar general Maxim Noronha amidst religious rituals.



Paldane St Theresa Church parish priest Fr Vincent Victor Menezes, episcopal vicar var Fr J B Crasta, Modankap church assistant parish priest Fr Ashwin Crasta and others were present.
