Mysuru, Sep 22: Police personnel of Kuvempunagar station in the city have arrested a disciple of a Swamiji, who happens to be the main accused in a complaint of sexually harassing a woman. The arrested person happens to be Anil Acharya, resident of Ramakrishnanagar here.
It is said that Anil, disciple of Sri Vidyahamsa Bharati Swamiji, along with the Swamiji and other disciple, had visited the house of the lady at midnight on September 4. With the support of her husband, they reportedly had meted out sexual harassment to her. The woman had thereafter filed a complaint in Kuvempunagar police station against five disciples of the Swamiji including her husband, Rajesh Bore.
As soon as the complaint was filed, Vidyahamsa Bharati Swamiji and the lady's husband, Rajesh Bore, had disappeared. The police have succeeded in arresting Anil Acharya, who reportedly was with the Swamiji during the said incident.
