Bantwal, Sep 20: In an incident which was reported with delay from Goodinabali near Panemangalore here, a minor girl was sexually exploited by three persons including an old man. All the three accused have been taken into custody by the police personnel of the town station here.

The accused in the case are Shekabba, a senior citizen who is a scrap merchant by profession, Razack (35), and Nawaz (25), residents of Godinabali.

It is said that the crime had been inflicted on the girl about two weeks ago. As per the complaint received by the police, the girl was targetted by the trio during the period she was on a visit to her grandmother's house here. Recently, the girl began to show signs of volatility in her health condition. During the period she was admitted into a local hospital, the doctors realized that she was subjected to sexual harassment, it is learnt.

It is gathered that the accused have been booked under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
