Tumakuru, Sep 17: Giving clarification on the recent developments in the state Congress party due to the chaos created by Jarakiholi brothers, State BJP president Yeddyurappa said, "I am in no way connected to the internal rivalry within the Congress party. We will not do 'Operation Kamala'."
He was speaking to the scribes after paying a visit to Siddaganga Math here and seeking blessings of Dr Shivakumar Swamiji on Sunday, September 16.
"Congress and JD (S) leaders are unable to solve their internal rivalry. So they are accusing BJP for no reason. I do not have any information as to who is joining BJP from the Congress. I am not aware of the team under the leadership of the Jarakiholi brothers joining BJP. I have not spoken a single word with regards to this issue. It is the internal issue of Congress," Yeddyurappa added.
Later at a function at Arasikere, Yeddyurappa reacted strongly to the statement of chief minister H D Kumaraswamy of accusing BJP of using thugs from real estate and private finance fields in order to conduct 'Operation Kamala' and said, "This statement of the CM is an irresponsible one. If he has such information, let him arrest such people."
