Bantwal: BJP candidate complains of electoral code violation

Bantwal, Aug 31: BJP candidate for the local municipality, Laxman Raj, complained to the electoral officer on Thursday August 30, accusing Congress candidate and some leaders of that party of indulging in election campaigning in violation of rules. He said in his complaint that the said candidate and leaders had organized press conference after the time given for campaigning ended.

The complainant said that Congress candidate and leaders holding different responsibilities in the party held press conference at Sagar auditorium near Panemangalore 23rd ward on behalf of the party. He has urged him to hold probe and take suitable steps against the candidate and people who indulged in electoral campaigning beyond the permissible time.
