Udupi: ICYM Perampalli unit celebrates national youth Sunday, holds ‘DIT’

Udupi, Aug 29: ICYM Perampalli unit organised a deanery level programme 'DIT 2018' (Let's do it together) marking the celebration of national youth Sunday on August 26. Around 144 youth from 9 parishes took part in the programme.

The programme was inaugurated by Fr Anil D'Souza, parish priest, Our Lady of Fatima Church, Perampalli.

In his inaugural message, he wished all the youths the best and congratulated Perampalli unit on organising such a good event.

Quiz, face painting and cooking without fire competitions were held in the event for youth.

Fr Valerian Mendonca, dean, Udupi deanery, was the chief guest of the valedictory programme. Fr Lawrence Cutinha, ICYM director, Udupi deanery, congratulated everyone on taking active part in the competitions and announced the winners of the same.

Dion D’Souza, ICYM president, Udupi diocese, Fr Anil D'Souza, parish priest, Perampalli church, Vilton D’Souza and Fiona D’Souza were also present in the programme.
