Mangaluru Aug 24: Cine actress, Soujanya Hegde inaugurated a one day interschool competition 'Agnathon', at St Agnes PU college auditorium, here on Friday August 24.

Addressing the gathering Soujanya Hegde said, "Being an alumni of this great institution, it has always been my pride and privilege to come here. St Agnes will always be the first choice to opt for PU studies. We always bow to our teachers as they taught us to respect our elders, God and taught us to dream big.

"Every individual has talents and this is the right platform to showcase them. Grab every opportunity you get to excel in your career. Look back for encouragement and motivation, do not hold back and make sure your rules are grounded. I wish the participants all the best.

The student council president, Mansi welcomed the gathering, Riya Rishika compered the programme.

Principal, St Agnes PU college Sr M Shamitha AC, vice principal St Norine, St Agnes College joint secretary Dr Maria Roopa A C, convener Sr Janet Sequiera AC, convener Mathew Anthony and PTA vice president Valentine Rodrigues were present.
