Beltangady: ICYM Central Council Mangaluru diocese initiates K2K mission

Beltangady Aug 21: ICYM Central Council Mangaluru diocese initiated the mission K2K (Kudla to Kerala and Kodagu) in concern with the people of Kerala. ICYM units are actively extending helping hands to rescue the people of Kerala and Kodagu.

ICYM, Venur also stretched out their sympathetic hands towards them and tried their best to help them.

ICYM, Venur unit initiated K2K in their surroundings with great effort on August 19.



The ICYM members of Venur went in and around villages and collected rice, bedsheets, grains, water cans and other items which would be of genuine help to the people in the flood areas. Some people also extended their helping hand by donating money.

Fr Mark Saldanha, ICYM coordinator Arun Dsouza, president Delson Dsouza, vice president Rupert Michael Pais, secretary Reshma Fernandes and deanery vice president Jovita Dsouza and other members of ICYM were an integral part of the mission and lent their service.
