Mangaluru: Office bearers of Rotaract Club of SDM PG Centre installed

Mangaluru, Aug 16: “We should enjoy whatever task we take up irrespective of the situation. This would make our life colorful and successful.” said U Rajinikanth, chief of Learning and Development, MCF Ltd, Mangaluru, who was the chief guest at SDM Post Graduation Centre for Management Studies and Research, Mangaluru, at the installation ceremony of the office bearers of SDM Rotaract Club of the college on August 9.

The Rotaract Club of SDM PG Centre has been actively involving in various social service activities. Roto quiz and Beach cleaning are two major events planned for the next month. Rtn Dr M Vasanth Pai, president, Rotary Club of Mangaluru was the installation officer. He said that Rotary Club is a platform for all successful men. He also spoke about the achievements like Polio eradication campaigns which the Rotary club has undertaken.



Shreya Shetty was sworn in as the president of the Rotaract Club of SDM PG Cenntre for the year 2018-19. Prakash H S, the faculty coordinator administered the oath to the office bearers.

Rtn Vinod D’Souza, Rtn R K Bhat, Rtn Yathish Baikampady, Rtn Vasanth Shenoy, Rtn Aadithya Pai, Rtn Naveen Kumar and others were present at the occasion. Director Dr Seema S Shenoy presided over the function.

The Rotary Club of Mangaluru along with the IQAC of the college distributed fruit bearing saplings to the students under the ‘Green initiative’ programme of the college. MBA student Charishma Suvarna compeered the programme.
