Bengaluru: Police raid different places, arrest nine, confiscate 6.4 kg ganja

Bengaluru, Aug 9: Police personnel from Whitefield division in the city, acting on information, raided various places in the city and seized from them 6.4 kg ganja, 30 grams cocaine, and 10 grams of MDMM.

Police personnel of Mahadevpura station here arrested Poorna Gooku (38),who was residing at Toobarahalli here. 3.75 kg ganja was found in his possession. During questioning, the police wee informed that he is a resident of Mudrakool village in West Bangal.

HAL station police took into custody Chandraprasad, resident of Tinsukia in Assam, and recovered 1.5 kg ganja from him. He happens to be a resident of Kaikondrahalli in Sarjapur here.

Marathhalli police in the city took into custody Munna Khan (36) and Vasudev from Saptagiri layout here, and recovered 900 grams of ganja. Kadubeesanahalli police arrested a person identified as Muniyappa and recovered 300 grams ganja from him. They have registered a case.

K R Pura station police have arrested four Nigerian nationals on the charges of peddling cocaine and MDMA drug. 30 grams ganja and 10 grams MDMA were recovered from them. Investigation is continuing, said Whitefield deputy superintendent of police, Abdul Ahad.
