Karkala: Land donated to historical Nandalike Mahalingeshwara temple

Karkala, Aug 9: N V Ramaprasad, N V Kishanprasad and house members donated one acre and twenty cent land to historical Nandalike Mahalingeshwara temple in memory of their father hailing from Nandalike Mantrimane, author of 'Tulunada Siri', N Vasudev Rao and mother Rama Bai.

N Suhas Hegde, son of temple trustee Sundarama Hegde honored the donors. Monappa Serigar Moodumane was felicitated on behalf of the temple for his special cooperation.



Retired headmaster N Sudhaker Rao delivered an introductory address. Harish Tantri, chief priest of the temple, manager Raviraj Bhat, temple staff members and members of mantrimane family were present.
