Mangaluru: Catholic Sabha of Mother Theresa varado honours MLA Dr Bharath Shetty

Mangaluru, Jul 30: Catholic sabha of Mother Theresa varado felicitated MLA of Mangaluru North constituency Dr Y Bharath Shetty on Sunday, July 29. The programme also threw light on scholarships and government facilities given to Christians by the state and central government.

A large number of people were present for the event. Dr Bharath Shetty was honoured with a memento, shawl, garland and basket of fruits.



Addressing the gathering, Dr Bharath Shetty said that Catholic Sabha has felicitated him to remind his duties and responsibilities as an MLA and he is ready to do any service towards his constituency people irrespective of caste or creed. Chief guest Fr Paul Pinto, parish priest, Sacred Heart Church, blessed and prayed for Dr Bharath Shetty.

Parish council vice-president Dony Suvares, secretary Bernard D'Souza, Catholic Sabha varado vice-president Harry and secretary Russel Roche, programme organiser Surathkal Catholic Sabha vice-president Peter Alex D' Souza and secretary Allwyn Lolvy Crasta were present.
