Mangaluru, Jul 7: “It is not a small matter that Friends Ballalbagh Biruver Kudla organization has distributed more than Rs 85 lac toward the treatment of hundreds of poor patients. Organizations as these must grow throughout the state,” stated Vidhana Parishat opposition leader Kota Srinivas Poojary.
He addressed the gathering at Kudroli Gokarnanath temple premises here on Saturday July 7 after handing over Rs 50 thousand aid from the organization to the family of Shashikanth Bangera suffering from kidney failure.
“Lacs of people are requesting help for medical treatment in the state. The government can help only a few of them, but when an organization like Biruver Kudla becomes strong, help can be distributed at grass root level also. When every organization has social concern it is possible to extend a helping hand for difficulties of people."
BJP leader Sathish Kumpala and Biruver Kudla founder president Uday Poojary Ballalbagh spoke on the context. Shobha expressed her gratitude on behalf of the family in distress. Kudroli temple management committee president Sairam, BJP leader Vasanth J Poojary, Ravishanker Mijar, Rajendra, Biruver Kudla organization president Rakesh Ballalbagh, Randeep Kanchan, Sadananda Poojary, Roshan Ballalbagh, Lathish Ballalbagh, Bharath Ballalbagh, Kishore Babu, Rakesh Chilimbi, Ramprasad Ekooru, Lohith Gatty, Deepak Kodikal, Rinith Raj, Pranesh Boloor, Yathiraj Ballalbagh, Mahesh Ashoknagar, Dambel residents and others were present.
“The organization has planned to collect up to Rs ten lac from different donors and hold a programme during Dasara this year for poor students, health ailments and differently abled. Biruver Kudla has already begun working towards it. Hundreds of requests are flowing in for help which will be distributed on priority,” said Udaya Poojary, founder president of Biruver Kudla.
