Udupi, Jul 3: Secretary of National Student’s Union of India (NSUI), Rahul B R on July 2 visited the district for a meeting with the district office bearers and members at the Congress Bhavan Brahmagiri.

Rahul B R was received warmly by the district NSUI president Christan D’Almeida in front of the Congress Bhavan. In the meeting held at the district Congress Bhavan president Christan D’Almeida submitted the report and briefed on the work done by NSUI in the district in the past.

Addressing the student leaders and the gathering Rahul B R said, “NSUI is the largest democratic student organisation of India. Rahul Gandhi has high hopes on NSUI and we need to work hard for our party. He appreciated the work done by NSUI Udupi district and also said that the Karnataka NSUI is available 24×7 for NSUI related activities. He suggested NSUI Udupi to organise more activities to help the students across the district.

District Congress president Janardhan Tonse, NSUI state secretary Farooq, NSUI district in-charge Harish Kini, Congress leader Nagesh Udyavar, NSUI student leaders were also present.
