Mumbai, Sep 24: Konkani Premi Mulund Celebrated Monthi Fest on Sunday September 14 at St Pius church, Mulund (West), during 10 30 a m Holy Mass.
 
Earlier, the children offered flowers to Infant Mary.  Fr Richard Lasrado, parish priest of Victoria church, Mahim, blessed the new harvest, fresh paddy sheaves brought from native Mangalore.

Fr Richard Lasrado was main celebrant of the mass while Fr William of parish priest of St Pius church, Mulund and Fr Hubert, assistant parish priest, assisted in homily.

After the Holy Mass Fr William blessed the coconut milk mixed with new harvest and fresh vegetarian food. A cake was cut in honour of Infant Mary.

Eddy Rodrigues, Dolphy Menezes Kallianpur, Nancy Mathias, Renny Suvares, Ivan Suvares and Sophie and Kenneth Sequeira enthralled the audiences with Konkani music in metro.

Dolphy Menezes Kallianpur entertained with many Jokes. Kombo Kaithan a small drama written by Lawrence Alvares was staged at the occasion.
