Mangaluru: Mandd Sobhann to hold western choral singing workshop on Jul 14, 15

Mangaluru, Jun 22: ‘Sumell’ in association with Mandd Sobhann, will organise a ‘Western Choral Singing Workshop’ at Kalaangann on July 14 and 15.

Eminent musicologist and choir conductor Kurian Varkey will be the main trainer.

Introduction to choral music (western), exercises in breathing, tone, range, warm-up and theory and practicals of singing in four voices will be taught at the workshop.



While the duration will be 1 pm to 7 pm on July 14, it will be 9 am to 7 pm on July 15. Accommodation will be provided to those who would want to stay overnight.
