Kundapur: Miscreants Desecrate Statue at Carmelites' House at Katkere

Attack on the Christian institutions and religious places of workship continued during the night on Sunday September 14 as the miscreants desecrated a statue located in front of  Carmelites' house in Katkere, near Koteshwar.

The incident occurred around 9.30 PM. The miscreants came on two wheelers and pelted stones at the statue and fled from the spot immediately. The statue has been badly damaged.

Police rushed to the spot immediately and security has been beefed up around Katkere.

Mangalore: Padua Chapel Attacked, Catholics Call for Bandh on Sep 15
Attack on Catholic Chapel  Accidental - VHP

Mangalore, Sep 14: Miscreants pelted stones on  the chapel of Padua Pre-university College located at  Nantoor on Sunday September 14around 8.30pm, IST. Window panes were  damaged in the incident.

Kadri police rushed the spot and secured the area. Meanwhile, police have been deployed in front of all the Christian prayer centers following the attack on the Adoration monastery and other prayer centers in the district on Sunday.

Call for Bundh:

The Catholic leaders have called for a  peaceful Bundh on Monday September 15. The bundh will be observed in and around the city. All  Catholic traders and transport owners have  decided to observe the bundh by closing their shops and stopping their vehicles. A huge protest will be held  at  BC Road on Monday, sources told.

Udupi report:

People gathered in almost all the churches in the district, after hearing the news of attack on prayer centers in coastal Karnataka. The people have volunteered  to stay overnight at the church premises  and protect it from any attacks.

A memorandum will be submitted to the DC on Monday September 15 at 10.30 am, seeking protection for the lives and property  of Christians. Prayers and holy Eucharistic  will be held in all the 48 churches of the district on Wednesday September 17, sources told.

Not purposeful:

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader M B Puranik said in a press conference on Sunday, that the attack on the Adoration monastery was not done on purpose but was an accident. The VHP has a good regard for  Catholics and Protestants. But they should not support conversion and insult  Hindu Gods. Conversion has been done in the Adoration monastery since many years. Therefore, the Sangh Parivar activists might have attacked it, he opined.

Bajarangadal state convener Mahendra  Kumar said that, no catholic or protestant churches have been attacked in any part of the state. The prayer centres where the conversion was done were attacked, he informed.

Mangalore: Black Sunday Leaves Behind Many Unanswered Questions

Sep 14: It was Black Sunday for  Catholics in the city as the peace-loving people took to the streets for the first time in the history of Mangalore diocese on Sunday  September 14. The city's Catholics have never protested in this manner despite numerous provocations. The protest concluded with police caning.

The protestors expressed their grief about the attacks on prayer centres by blocking arterial city roads. Church bells rang consistently in almost all the churches of the city soon after news spread of the attack on Adoration Monastery in Milagres. Parishioners rushed to the church on hearing the bells toll.

Community members thronged the roads at Kulshekar, Bejai, Derabail, Tokkottu, and in Milagres. Roads stayed fully-blocked in these places till late evening. The situation turned violent when police tried to disperse protestors by caning them. Some devotees who came for the evening mass to Milagres Church also fell victim to the caning. Window panes of the monastery were broken in the incident.

Journalist Anil Jogi as well as four policemen were injured. Trainee policemen Mahesh and Vinod were severely injured and they have been admitted to Wenlock District Hospital. Three police vehicles including that of the deputy superintendent of police, were also damaged.  Sr Pramila (42) of Belvedere convent and Jiten D'Cunha from Kulshekar, were injured in the mob fury and admitted to a private hospital.

Parishioners of Kulshekar were celebrating the Feast of the Cross on Sunday. But they concluded their feast abruptly and joined protestors in Kulshekar and Milagres. In the midst of all the chaos, sadly, political leaders were trying their best to gain some  mileage.

Congress leaders did their best to hijack the protest giving a non-political movement  plenty of  political colour. Police sources, reportedly had an inkling about the attack on Christian prayer centres. The miscreants were supposed to target the prayer centres of  the New Life Fellowship group.

Superintendent of police Sateeshkumar, had made security arrangements near the New Life prayer centre in Kankanady and miscreants who came there, were barred entry by the police. The miscreants then took revenge on the police by pelting stones and proceeded towards Adoration Monastery.

So far, the city was known for communal clashes between Muslims and Hindus. Now, Christians have also been drawn into this deadly triangle. It is tough to predict how the situation will be in and around the city in the next few days. Minority community leaders allege that the police are acting as agents of Sangh Parivar leaders as the BJP is the ruling party in the state.

The repercussions are far from finished. A mob attacked four persons near Gurupur Bridge on Sunday evening. The injured have been identified as Albert D'Souza (35) of Kallamundkoor, Alvyn Prakash Sequeira (34) and his one-year-old son Alister of Gurpur, and Vishal D'Silva (12) of Kallamundkoor. They were on their way to their hometown in a private car.  Section 144 has been imposed for three days in Mangalore taluk limits.

Police Resort to Lathi Charge, Tear Gas on Protesters - Mangalore Tense

Union minister of labour and employment Oscar Fernandes and MLA Ramanat Rai arrived at the spot of violence, here at 6.00 p m on Sunday September 14.

The people are taking refuge in the Milagres Hall Complex, located close to Milagres church. Journalist Anil Jogi was injured in the incident. Three police vehicles including that of DySP were also damaged. Four policemen were injured.

Sr Pramila (42) of Belvedere convent was injured in mob fury and admitted to casualty unit of Fr Muller Medical College Hospital.

Jitan D Cunha from Kulshekar is also attacked by some unknown persons and admitted to Fr Muller Hospital.

It's the irony of police resorting to bystanders along Milagres church ground and at the entrance of Sisters of Poor Clare's Adoration Monastery.

5.45pm, IST

The sleuths resorted to caning on protesters including nuns and women on the streets of Milagress Hall complex, Hampankatta.

It is reported that when police started lathi charge, people pelted stones on police vans. Many vehicles damaged in the process.

Blood could be seen all over the area.

Now you people started to build the schools and hospitals for their own profit not to show concern others or help others. The money that you are earning there is, from our people working in other countries and sent to our beloved once.

You talking that we are covert Hindus to Christian, from the start we are 2.5% all over India and now went to down to 2.3%, now you tell us where is the converting going, Before you commenting something look the fact first, we are the loving personality people and not harming others, that’s why you people taking advantage to us. I can just say nothing to you you are not God only the human being. I can just pray for you that God will give knowledge to you and peace to your family. Lumpen fringe elements of right-wing parties are a threat to a civilized way of life. They are especially dangerous when they represent a majority. I, however, am of the firm belief that the over-whelming majority of this majority do not share thier viewpoint.

If this story about conversions were true then surely the percentage of Christians in the country's population would go up, instead of down say it has in the last 2 census counts. Also there are millions of non-Christians who hace benefitted from our schools, colleges and hospitals without being converted. I wish some of them would speak out.

Resorting to meaningless violence and damage to people, property and churches shows an act of cowardice and frustration by these miscreants. To put in words, people who resort to such means have in fact no religion at all.For which religion teaches its faithful to harm innocents and cause misery? Which religion teaches to banish peace and spread terror? Religion is a matter of one's own faith and will.

Mangalore has been a peace-loving city for many years with people living in tolerance, peace and unity. We call upon people and citizens of all faiths and creed to unite in these hours of uncertainity and condemn this violence as well as reach out to help one another and not turn their backs. We have recently concluded our celebrations of India's Independence.........without realizing that barriers and fences of hatred still exist in our hearts against one another... Have we truly attained freedom? Are we not still slaves ?

May these miscreants find inner healing and true peace in their hearts in the Love of Jesus.May they find meaning and purpose in their lives instead of destroying it in vain by creating trouble for others...for no one can find happiness this way! May the Good and Almighty God Protect Us and Help us in our Battle as we march together. May He Guide us and our Leaders to the path of Peace and Love..... as Tagore Prayed "... Where the mind has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls................Into that Heaven of freedom my Father... Let my country Awake!...."

This is a very clear case of provocation against the entire Christian Community, they want the Christians to behave like these animals themselves, but to their amazement, the gathering of the Christians was peaceful! So they brought in the police to provoke the crowd, it still didn’t work.

They obviously do not want the media to show this, that Christians are doing what JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF had asked to do, to love the enemies. It is best left to GOD, do not for a moment imagine that GOD is sleeping somewhere and does not see this.

"The attack was accidental". Maybe the retaliation of minorities was accidental too!!!!Maybe the resentment that Muslims feel so openly against the Hindus is accidental too!!!! For all you know the BJP coming to power was the worst possible accident to have led to hundreds of injuries. Does anyone need an army of hooligans to protect religion when religion itself despises violence? If the Hindus want to do something good help your Hindu folk, don't caste them out as untouchables don't look down upon your fellow people as low classed open schools and give your fellow Hindus an education teach them to be tolerant of other religions do all these and I doubt anyone of you will be lured by money and all the other benefits that are offered by New Life, any Catholic Missionary, Christian or Protestant Missinary.

Dont pelt stones, burn people disrepect religious statues, and insult the Church of the Lord Most High. Remember the seeds you sow will be the crops your very own children will reap.

Dear MB Puranik and Mahendra Kumar, What do you mean by the attack on adoration ministry is accidental and not purposeful? What do you think yourselves as? If every citizen of India takes the law in his or her hands what will happen to India?

If some people come and attack the Hindu or Muslim worship places is it right? If you have grievances against any one for any reason there is police, court and law. The constitution of India has given right to every citizen to go to these legal departments and has the duty to abide by the law. I am sure the Risen Christ will show his love and mercy on those who humiliated HIM present in the Holy Eucharist. We will not revenge but we will pray to HIM who will judge rightfully. Well obviously the answer would be " No" and when we see that our christian brothers are repeating this inspite of many instances noticed and happened across the country and also after multiple communications sent any person or community would loose its patience.

Having said that i dont mean to say that " violence" is the word , but what has happened is just that when the fatigue point reaches, its common for anything, be it person or machine to breakdown, here its humans who has vented their anger. I request all Hindu brothers to think over what the so called "Restorers of Hinduism" are doing. If destruction of Christians is an answer for all the atrocities of European invaders, and conversions, i call upon all those who concerned to think again. We fell prey to European invaders because of our selfishness, and greed. (Its really ironic that no one mentiones about Mughal Invaders who converted Hindus and looted Indian treasure. Maybe the courage is lacking to mention this... or maybe their votebank matters more than ethics....) And as for conversions, I\call upon my Hindu brothers to think again... why would any one convert? Plain and simple, They dont BELIEVE in their religion, or maybe they dont know their religion.

Basics of Christianity : LOVE & FORGIVENESS. Jesus Christ was humble all the way to the Cross, and he forgave even the person who nailed him to the cross.. And as Christians, we are bound to forgive (If we dont, we are not Christians). If one religion can create a havoc all over the world just for a simpe cartoon, imagine what they can do if something like this happens to them...... Do my Hindu brothers have enough courage to restrict the nubmer of Worship places they build overnight??? or over their noise pollutions? THEN WHY CHRISTIANS??????????????????? For the selfish needs of BJP, it has brought all the religions like Sikhs, Jains, Buddhism and the lower casts under their umbrella. Everyone knows the hard facts.

These lower casts are their vote banks. I challenge Mr. Advani to make a provision for a lower caste Hindu brother to enter the Sanctorium of any of the Famous temples ... like Guruvayur (for eg.). This Saffron brigade may be successful in Restricting other religions. but once they are done with other religions, then they will turn to Sikhs and Jains....etc. Once they are done with them what next.... it will be the turn of Hindus... there will be restrictions in clothing, festivities...... dosent this sound like the beginning of indian Taliban????? WAKE UP GUYS...... READ BETWEEN THE LINES AND SEE WHAT A SMALL SELFISH POLITICAL GROUP IS TRYING TO DO. Why do the leaders children are sent to Christian schools, and why do prominent people prefer to marry girls educated in Christian Convents?

Tell us who educated Mangaloreans, who offered Medical care....... Government is keen on banning SIMI. Can anyone tell me in what way is Bajrang Dal better compared with SIMI. It is unfortunate that the keepers of democracy..... the Damned MLA's, Ministers and even a Constable who take Oath of safeguarding the Democracy are blindfolded...... and History has been a witness, wherever followers of Jesus Christ were persecuted there have been plagues and calamities in those places. And when God is angry there will be severe punishment. Something tells me that there is a Punishment coming for the Sins in south India. I am praying to God Almighty to be merciful. I am afraid it could be a

Dear Mr. Winston Fernandes, Mangalore... Are you so insecure about your own faith? If not, why are you concerned about the fact that New Life people are 'enticing' fellow Catholics into their group. It may be possible that these Catholic brethren have their own reasons for shifting faiths. We so-called caste-free Catholics are also known to display double standards when it comes to our own.

I've heard Catholics speaking of formerly being Brahmins who converted into Catholicism and despite being Catholics for generations, tend to figure out what their fellows Catholics used to be, i.e, what caste they originated from. So aren't you displaying 'double standards' here when you say its ok to convert other religions, but not other Christians?? Be at peace with your own faith and like the Lord said, "Judge not lest ye be judged"

First of all the Bajrang Dal has no right to do this. they had no right to enter our worship places and ruin its sanctity? would they tolerate it if any one entered their temples and tear them apart? they have been playing around enough and i for one am happy and fully supportive of my fellow brothers and sisters wwho are back home protrsting for this cause. its high time we catholics opened our eyes and be wise and choose our leaders carefully and think about our community's safety. its never too late. even though most of us cant be there with u all, wwe are praying for u and we are a part of this. we shall get justice.

It was a shock to hear about this incident.I have never come across something like this in Mangalore and it is indeed appalling to hear that the police just stood and watched and later on resorted to violence to disperse a peaceful march. This a gross violation of human, religious and democratic rights in a country like India.

Please don't use petty excuses to attack a religious center while if you actually want to do something show an example of good to your fellow people rather than resorting to any violence. Kindly note you might be able to commit such cowardly, disgraceful and meaningless acts only in this country while you are surrounded on all sides by Muslim and Catholic nations and the communist world.

What is so obvious is that these acts go unpunished and unquestioned by the law and the government. I wonder if our 'quiet' nature presents an opportunity to continue these acts. I actually wonder if forgiveness is a response to these violent reactions. I hope the prayers and sacrifices of so all Catholics, Christians and Protestants together, bring peace to this country.

If this continues though, I pray that that Lord would protect his people and if need be reign down punishment on those who persecute and commit atrocities against a peaceful religion.

All forgiving Father, forgive them - For they know not what they are doing. We, your children, too will forgive them. HOWEVER, WE SHALL NEVER FORGET 14/09/2008. Lest we forget: Do not ever fix the broken Crucifix (or any of those damaged statues). Let the date 14/09/2008 be boldly written on the wall next the crucifix. Let the Crucifix stand as a testimony to what the peace-loving Roman Catholics of Mangalore get for their peace-loving attitude.

We certainly shall fix the Crucifix and erase the date on the wall if those who indulged in this crime really repent and ask for forgiveness. However, it is a different matter that one needs to have a heart in the first place in order to repent from the bottom of it. And, one with the heart, would never have perpetrated a crime of this magnitude. As a Roman Catholic, I am infuriated at what has happened. However, no matter how infuriated and frustrated I am, I will never avenge it with breaking a revered idol of Ganesha, Shiva or Lakshmi. It simply does not befit our Indian roots and culture to do that. For the record, I am against conversions of any type even those so called “conversion by conviction” (there is no such thing).

Conversion from one religion to another (no matter what religions are involved) creates heartbreaks in families, animosity in the society and eventually, hatred in the country. If God wanted us to be born into some other religion, he / she would have ordained and destined us to be born into that religion. I revere Hindu religion and still consider the Hindus as one of the most peace loving people in the world. PS: To those who actually destroyed the statues: Can you really go to sleep in peace tonight with your “achievement of the day" grilling your conscience?

If you can, then you are not the Hindu that our Hindu culture has thought us to believe who a real Hindu is. It is not too late. Repent and we shall forgive you your actions. If we, the grieved, don’t forgive you of such a heinous crime, neither your own Gods, not in your next thousand Punarjanmas. With a broken heart - Joel

I know..Politics is behind all these mess.. from both community..and poor publics are sufferer.Instead of blaming Hindus and Christians.. why dont Hindu leaders meet Christian leaders and take action against those who demaliging Hindu god or religion.

Freedom of religion do not mean to condemn other religion for self gain.I see people got hurt.. but the none of the so called Community=Political leadres are not among the those been hurt.. So wake up Hindu and Chrisitans from mangalore..try to find the root cause for the problem we facing in India.. instead taking abrupt blame or action on others..

And police should take action who ever involved the incident which creating mess in public life. Jai Hind ]

During MLA's wife's incident, Home minister was full time busy giving statements. When Mangalore is burning he is into deep silence! How about that?

Its a shame on Orissa. The Staines were burned alive, hundreds have been burnt alive since then, thousands rendered homeless. Is this Hinduism. No. True Hinduism doesn't preach this. Stop leaving Hinduism by setting an example and serving the Hindu People.

Discrimination within the religion, neglect of the religious values and a carefree attitude had made people leave Hinduism to seel Solace in Isalm, Christianity, Buddhism andn even Ateism. So what will Bajrang Dal do if a Hindu becomes an Atheist? Set your home in oreder and Hindus will remain Hindus. The ongoing vioelce is not to protect Hinduism but to create a communa divide by Bajrand Dal, VHP and the BJP.

The Word Organizations like the Human Rights Organization, Amnesty international and the like should step in and emabarass India. Let Bajrang Dal stop takng in funds earned from Christain and Muslim countiries by their donors if they are so steadfast in thier belief against Muslims and Christians in India.

Just imagine what will happen to the Hindu brethren all over the World if Muslims and Christians were to retalliate. But this will not happen as Musilms ans Christains along with the peace loving Hindus (not Bajran dal or VHP members) will live in harmony with love as the priority. Orissa should have taken proper steps to counter this intense communal feelings. Shame on the Orissa government which looks totally uncivilized and a government for the stone-age.Its not too Late Mr.Patnaik.

India is supposed to be a democratic & secular country? This is what they mean by democracy & secularism? Hurting & attacking innocent people..Even the cops are supporting such activists...

There is no justice to the minorities at all...This is a bad example after Gujrath riots. This horrendous act should be condemned..We Christians should get together & protest such false claim against conversion. Nobody is above law...

This was bound to happen. With the BJP govt in the state the VHP and Bajranh dal have got strenght. It is a matter of time when their aggresion becomes stronger. They have preyed on the fact that Christians are easy going and have no unity. However, they have been proved wrong. We need to form a strong front or else all minorities in India , christians included will face the same fate of Jews in Germany under Hitler or the ethnic cleansing that occured in east Europe after the fall of the East block. We need to show our might soon. AN eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. So be it.

Kannada churches and Kannadigas are being attacked by the north Indian communal forces such as Bajrang Dal. Why are the KRV keeping quiet. Are they planning to become HRV Hindu Rakshana Vedike to please the BJP and become a Hindu party, instead of saving Karnataka. The BJP are bringing all their election campaigners, Bajrang Dal, VHP and RSS to Karnataka after they won elections here and, our local parties are losing their identities, and communal tension is on the rise in Karnataka, which is the BJP trademark in all states that they rule. 20 Years ago, in my Church Youth Group,( In Bombay ) I had made a request that our community youth should join the Police, Army, IAS & Politics. Everyone including my parents were against it. Our religion & our Preists have made us impotent. The need of the hour is to be vigilant, Strong, Action oriented. No one fears us, our vote bank is so minute, no one cares for us. As there is no fear, every party / hooligans are creating trouble for us & gets away with it. Create a organisation to make ourselves strong before we go and make others into Christians. Spend money on our families & organisations. Lets become a force to reckon with.... Please read my message & print it..this is prophetic..I saw this 20 years back..unfortunately its become the need of the hour... Hope this does not spread into other parts of the country.. Regi

Its a shock to Christian community. first in Orissa, the preists & nunsr prosecuted & now the dwelling place of God is been destroyed. Jesus said, 'when u hear about earthquakes/ wars/ persecution of people for my sake & destruction of holy places, think that the world is coming to an end.' Now I feel is this the hint for all of us that we ourselves are setting the ladder for our destruction? Indeed, India need not wait for Pakistan or any other country to attack for the third world war because Hindus will initiate & destroy India very soon.

All Hindu community, who have been healed by visiting the Holy Christian places of Jesus, today do come forward & tell ur hindu bhajrangdal the divine graces of Lord Jesus Christ. May the same lord heal these peoples' criminal minds and bring the inner healings. May God bless all of us & keep us united.

I think they need some kind of education otherwise days are not far for them to become sucide bombers and blow in churches

It is a matter of great regret that The Adoration Monastry has come under attack. The poor nuns inside this Cloistered Home are a prayerful lot. They do not have any other occupation except to intercede with God for the betterment of people. I may add that even just now they are praying for the persons who attacked the convent.

It is good to see that The D.C.and the Superintendent of Police have quickly controlled the situation and imposed necessary section to ensure that the people do not get unruly. Congrats to Mr. Kumar on the way he has restored the situation to normalcy. India is a secular Country with every person having his right to practice any religion of his choice and in the context of this it is hoped that better discretion prevails so that India projects a good image not only to the people within but also to other nations. There is so much to be done and therefore let us concentrate on building a strong nation irrespective of politics.

Let us respect the rights of every one and let PEACE prevail. We are fortunate that in Mangalore we have a good set of officials who are quick in taking remedial measures in difficult situations. Kudos to the D.C Mr. Mahashwar Rao, and S.P. Mr. Kumar. I feel the need of the hour is to shake the Political leadership in the country. We need the highest level of Government intervention now.Enough is enough!

1)Firstly,I suggest all Catholic Christians all over the country should be alerted and Church Bells in all Parishes all over the country, should be rung Continously for 24 hours.Let the sound of the Church bells wake up this sleeping goverment and unite Catholics all over the country.Just imagine the collective sound of Church Bells ringing all over the country. It will attract the attention of the world.I call upon our faithful bretheren in Goa,Bombay & whole country to unite and spread the call for protest. We have the best organisation in our Church and the CBCI and Various Archdiocese should organise peaceful protest marches all over the country.

2)Secondly,the CBCI & Archdiocese should come out with list of all the outlawed Sects like New lIfe Church,Jehova's Witnesses,Children of God etc etc which are not under the affiliation of the catholic church and make an official Statement dis-associating themselves from these groups and their Conversion activities.

All the BJP politicians need to be hanged. Right form the home minister to the Coastal Develpoment authority chief.. aka Nagaraj Shetty. This is the handy work of jobless vagabonds and goons aka Bhajarangis. These are a bunch of antisocial elements who have now donned the robe of moral policing.

Do you think that they have any moral standing at all. I think it is time for us to unite and tell the world that enough is enough. This is a free country and right to religion is our fundamental right. No one can stop us from practising our religion.

I hope all the cathoilcs who voted BJP to power now know what it is to feed a viper. BJP has shed its sheep's clothing and the wolf is on the prowl. Few years back such things were unimaginable in mangalore. This is happening now because of the strong backing of the political bosses who are religious fundamentalists

I strongly agree with Winston here who has commented saying this is a result of the new life/born again/Jehovah etc etc which has sprung up in the recent years. It brings a bad name to all christians. What is the need to change their religion, the religion they are born in. what is the need to convert people, what is the need to get more people to join these new sects.

I also need to ask who are we, christians to social service the whole world? If the politicians and the government officials show no sympathy to the back trodden of India we are nobody to selflessly work for the betterment of these down trodden. These radical outfits know that once these down trodden become educated or learn to know their rights, then they cannot be exploited, which is what these radical groups want, and there we christians come into the picture, doing GHANDIGIRI...! The world is going to the dogs, especially India. In fact if one looks into history, one can see how the native Red Indians lost their land to the so called white Americans, the same with the Australian Aborigines. They were all exploited and looted but when they woke up to their rights there was no stopping them back. In fact I wanted to mention it a ling time ago.

We should not blame all hindus for the heinous crimes and atrocities committed against humanity against mankind. For the careless, irresponsible acts of some radical groups like the Bajrang Dal, all Hindus cannot be blamed. Similarly for random acts of some muslims, all muslims cannot be blamed. Finally the Mangalorean Christians who were deemed to be calm, poised, selfless and hardworking citizens have woken up. I sincerely appreciate their resorting to this outburst. All I hope and pray they will not take the law into their own hands, and I am sincerely against destroying public property and harm to individuals. Resort to such strikes and bundh's and the hooligans will learn a lesson they will never forget. People of all caste or communities need to learn to live in harmony, but if ones peace is threatened, one should always stand up for his/her right.

We are a educated lot and our powers and strength are always undermined. Its time for all to see what christians can do too, by standing up for their rights and by demanding a right to coexist peacefully side by side with people of all religions. JAI HIND!

Its very evident that these organisations are the biggest threat to the "unity-in-diversity" and secular fabric that we in India boast (or boasted once). Cleary shows that people have no trust in the Law, they are taking it into their own hands. I strongly condemn this kind of nonsence.

No one has given right to Bajrang Dal or Sangh Parivar to interfere in Public life. We are the largest democracy and these miscreants are governing our country.. Then why we need elections.. ?and what is our Govt. doing ? This is ridiculous..must be condemned by all. Bajrang dal and RSS should be banned imemdiately.

The so called protectors of their relegion are actually destrying their own relegion by these henious attacks on prayer houses. Hidus brethern must understand that their religion is being hijacked by vandals, criminals and mobs of thugs who will demand their pound of flesh soon from them. True religions are strong enough to weather any threats and no violence or force can destroy it. But it's time saner people from all religions must come to the fore and not be mute spectators of the false propoganda carried out by these real anti national elements. Let good sense prevail.

Then why are ROMAN CATHOLIC CENTRES attacked and Why is that the people belonging to this caste raped, killed, burnt and arrested for no reason. WHERE IS OUR RIGHT TO LIVE? WHERE IS OUR RIGHT TO PRACTICE ANY RELIGION? WHERE IS OUR RIGHT TO PROTECTION?

Brtish and portugese started spreading christianity in India later Persian sultans converted a lot of temples and hindus to muslims in India and the tradition is continuing of late, few hindus lost patiance and now responding and its problem for all of us. What if there was unity among all indians initially when there was only one religion and more cast system. Root cause is cast system and we got to remove it first.
