Mangaluru, April 21: Congress party sources have informed that All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Rahul Gandhi will arrive at Bantwal on April 27 in view of upcoming Vidhana Sabha elections.
It is said that senior Congress leaders will participate in the district-level conference on that day.
As per party sources, Rahul Gandhi will address people on the ground near Brahmashri Narayana Guru Circle in Bantwal before proceeding to Dharmasthala.
Rahul Gandhi had visited the coast on March 20 and had held many road shows including in city. He had also visited worship places like Rosario Cathedral, Kudroli Temple and Ullal Dargah.
Congress party has arranged another visit of Rahul Gandhi hoping to extend to the coast, the pro- Congress wave the party believes to have spread in the state.
