There is no more CET for medical education in respective states of India (conducted by each state govts.); all has been abolished in 2016. All India level NEET ( National eligibility entrance test) has been introduced from 2017 for MBBS and PG (MD) seats.

students aspiring for education in medical feild has to appear all India NEET and secure eligibility ranks thats is common for entire India to avail medical education seats in central or state govt run medical colleges, private medical colleges and private deemed universities.

Only 5-15% seats (private quota) in private medical colleges and private deemed universities are exempted for foreign countries students and NRIs with more fee dictated by college owners. However NRI (non-residents Indians ) children would like to study in medical education may avail the NRI reserved quota out of 15% but still has to appear NEET exam and secure rank. NEET has made our future doctors are equivally qualified and smart and their ability is standardised irrespective of which part of india he/she belongs to. Indians must be proud of their present and future doctors . Jai Hind
