Bengaluru, Apr 17: Sandalwood star Amulya and her husband joined the JD(S) along with her father-in-law, who was also a BJP ticket aspirant here on April 17.

Several BJP ticket aspirants have rebelled and switched to other parties on missing ticket ahead of assembly elections. Some of the leaders have decided to contest as Independent candidates.

On Tuesday former BJP corporator and a ticket aspirant from RR Nagar joined the JD(S) along with his son Jagadish and daughter-in-law Amulya. JD(S) Supremo H D Deve Gowda welcomed the trio into the party.

Speaking on the occasion, Amulya said that they will campaign for JD(S) in the coming days.

On the occasion Hemachandra Sagar, a Congress ticket aspirant from Chikkapete and Ramesh from C V Raman Nagar also joined the JD(S).

Speaking to reporters Deve Gowda said, "Day by day our supporters have been strengthening our party. The people are in favour of us and H D Kumaraswamy will definitely become the next chief minister. In Bengaluru itself we will win 8 to 10 seats."

This time assembly election each seat for JD(S) means helping BJP indirectly for alliance to rule. This father-son party is just like JD(U) Nitish Kumar which has already seen 800 communal riots in 10 months.

For the namesake they are 'secular' but one it comes power, they can be bedtime partner to any one.
It is better to have one party in the ruling rather than 'chow chow' bath.

It will not make any difference in the result. JDS will neither be a king or Kingmaker. Both jds and BJP will suffer a humiliating defeat at the hands of CONGRESS.

Do you really think that these type of people will be really faithful to their party, i am not pointing these in particular, but in general, it can be from BJP , Congress and JDS. the moment they realise they will not get ticket they will change their minds and join other parties, we people are fools and we have to sit and think that do they really deserve to lead us or represent us.

There is no ethics in politics in any party . Opportunistic political games. No loyalty to the party . Whoever change parties for political gains are only selfish and people should understand this.
