Kasargod, Apr 16: The cemetery of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Ukkinadka near Perla was found to have been vandalised by unknown miscreants on Monday April 16.
Miscreants allegedly destroyed a cross planted at the burial place.
As many as seven graves were found to have been damaged.
Strangely, yellow cucumber and coconuts were found lying on the ground, with Arabic writings on them.
Locals alleged that people associated with the undeclared bandh in Kasargod over Kathua rape and murder case were behind the incident.
Others expressed suspicions of 'black magic'.
Badiadka police visited the spot and registered a case.
