Bengaluru, Apr 10: Former deputy superintendent of police and general secretary of Bharatiya Janashakti Congress party, Anupama Shenoy, expressed her inclination to fight the coming assembly poll from Kaup constituency in Udupi district.
She was addressing a press meet here on Monday April 9.
"I am thinking of fight from Kaup constituency. A final decision on this issue is yet to be taken. However, the choice of constituency can undergo last minute change. I am not fighting the election on account of personal vengeance or political ill will. Our party has come into existence to eradicate corruption and provide good administration," she explained.
State president of the party, Mahadeva Udagaonvi, stated that his party has already announced candidates for 15 constituencies and that the party wants to field candidates in all the 224 assembly constituencies in the state.
