Mangaluru: Mobile canteen owner attacked by miscreants near hospital

Mangaluru, Apr 8: A group of miscreants allegedly attacked a mobile canteen owner and her vehicle near a private hospital here on Sunday April 8.

The mobile canteen is run by Kamalakshi.

As is her daily routine, she came to the spot early morning with her Maruti Omni to do business as usual. As per the complaint, when Kamalakshi parked her vehicle and started to arrange the food items, miscreants surrounded her and ordered her to remove the vehicle and stop her canteen business.

Heated arguments ensued, and the group allegedly attacked Kamalakshi but she managed to escape. They then vandalised her mobile canteen and threw out the food items, the complaint states.

In the complaint, Kamalakshi alleged that Rakshith Shetty, owner of Hotel Arora situated near the said hospital was behind this attack.

Kadri police have registered a case against five including Rakshith under IPC Sections 427,504,506 and 149.

    Same as pub attack case. Restaurant owner paid goonda Muthalik to go & beat up the customers of the other restaurant. Police only collecting hafta & eating samosa & jalebi.

    - Earning for daily livelyhood in massage parlour - Police will nab
    - When selling Pakode/mobile eatery, hoteliers smash and destroy their business
    - If found lonely at odd hours- goons, rapist take the opportunity
    - If found in pubs/icrecream parlours - Moral police will ransack

    @Jossey Saldanha: anywhere is it mentioned that the attacks where carried out by Bajarangdal / BJP / RSS? If one Hindu attacks then it doesn't mean that it was carried out by BJP / Bajarangdal / RSS. Incase if they all unite and support BJP then there will not be any other party winning in India.     Hospitals' area is one location among which 'Pakoda' can be sold.

    Rakshith should question the PM for the loss of his business due to mobile food services instead of attacking Business people like Kamalakshi.

    Shetty , Instead of condemning the other shetty for attacking a women, That too somebody who is honestly , working to make two ends meet and supporting her Family. . You blame it on the C,M .
