He is still leading this institution with his blessings. So the graduates and doctors who studied for this institution should be proud that they got to learn about health science from a holy place.”
“Today after the taking of oath, special responsibility has been given to all the graduates and doctors. It is not a responsibility of profession but it is the responsibility of humanity, service, and a good touch. Today onwards, you should dedicate yourself to society, nation and universe. Our constitution itself is talking about social welfare. In constitution, social welfare means care of the poor and upliftment of the backward section. Medical experts have to play a vital role in implementing this social welfare. So with a full pledge of service, compassion and human concern, the medical graduates should work in society. The mentality of caring and healing should come from within. Fr Muller Institute is teaching the human values along with the scientific study. So there is no doubt in the graduates of Fr Muller that they will become the torch bearers of the medical society. I congratulating all graduates and doctors and wish them a bright future.”
In his speech, Bishop Aloysius Paul said, “Fr Muller stepped in this soil with mission which was purely planned in humanitarian basis. He started to give homeopathic medicine to poor free of cost. In a very short span, he became a popular healer in region. Today the Fr Muller Charitable Institutions are following his mission. This year we spent 36 crore for charity. The charity was in the form of concession in medical charges, college fee, treatment charges etc. So I request all the fresh graduates and doctors to follow Fr Muller’s ideology in profession. The ideology of serving poor, looking at them on humanitarian basis is what Fr Muller upheld during his time. I congratulate the all graduates. You are the messengers and brand ambassadors of our institution.”
As many as 654 graduates received their degrees. During the programme, rank holders and gold medal winners were felicitated by Bishop.
