Mangaluru, Mar 10: The Hindi department of St Aloysius College (Autonomous) organised ‘Bhasha Sangham’, a programme which focussed on the development, maintenance and the use of complex systems for communication on March 8, 2018 at Xavier Auditorium of the College. Dr Mukund Prabhu, HOD of Hindi department, welcomed the gathering.

The chief guest for the programme was Dr Shikaripura Krishnamurthy, former HOD social professor in Sanskrit at St Aloysius College and also a well known Sandalwood actor, inspired the young mind with his words, ‘Swim to the languages are the greater goals than other’ and came up with different examples relating to his life.

Dr Mukund Prabhu spoke about the achievements of the chief guest. Lecturers from various departments Dr Ratan Tilak Mohunta, HOD English department; Dr Sarawathi, HOD Kannada department and Retnamma, Malayalam department were the other guests. Students from different faculties attended the programme and got more awareness relating to language and communication. The programme winded up with vote of thanks by Vidya.
