Mangaluru, Mar 9: The home department has issued orders transferring police inspectors within Dakshina Kannada (DK) district and outside, and also those working in other districts into DK. The transfers have been made in view of the forthcoming assembly election.
Suratkal police inspector, Sridhar Shastri, stands transferred to the department of civil rights enforcement, Davanagere. Gurudath Kamath has been transferred from the city crime branch (CCB) to district crime records bureau, Uttara Kannada. City CCB inspector, Muhammed Shariff, has been transferred to district crime intelligence bureau, Chikkamagaluru.
Shivaprakash, currently attached to city (east) traffic station, has been transferred to CCB Mysuru city. Ramachandra Nayak, currently station house officer of Moodbidri station, has been transferred to district crime intelligence bureau Uttara Kannada district. Urwa police inspector, Raveesh Nayak, has been placed to Bengaluru city ISD while Kalavathi K has been shifted from women's police station, Pandeshwar, to district women's police station, Udupi.
Mohan Kottary, currently working in the city special branch, has been posted to Anti Corruption Bureau here. Ashok P, currently posted in Konaje station, has been transferred to DCRE in the city while Nagaraj T D has been shifted to CSP from DSB.
Wasim Ahmed from Shivamogga DSB has been transferred to CCB special police station in the city while Raghu G S has been transferred to the city CCRB here.
Through these orders, the home department has asked the concerned police officers to immediately go to the destinations where they have been transferred and report for duty.
