Mangaluru: Drunk man claims he's police, creates nuisance in bus

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (ANK)

Mangaluru Mar 2: A man boarded a passenger bus in drunken state, claimed that he is a policeman and created nuisance here on Friday evening on March 1.

The bus with number ‘62’ was going from Konchady to Mallikatta.

The man was seen abusing the conductor after claiming that he was a policeman. Even though the conductor and passengers did not respond, the man continued to abuse.

Passengers and conductor requested him to get down from the bus but he was adamant.

"Who are you? You people are not respecting me because am not in uniform. I will come back in uniform and file case against you people,” the man said in abusive language.

“We have great respect towards police department. Please do not embarrass the department with such nuisance,” a passenger requested on behalf of others. But the man continued his act.

When the bus reached Nanthoor Circle, the man complained the traffic police who was on duty there. Without any knowledge of what had happened earlier, the traffic police did not allow the bus to move forward.

At this point, the passengers and conductor took traffic police to task. After getting the complete details of the incident, traffic police apologised with passengers and conductor and allowed the bus to leave.

The drunken ‘police’ man remained at Nanthoor circle.

It is not yet known if the man was really from the police department or only he claimed to be one.

When he is a police man if at all, should also behave as policeman, not create nonsense, have a identity card wherever one goes and show.No respect if one acts on alcohol stuper whoever it is.Normal police too must react on that problem. He should be put in a arrest room till his alcohol devil normalizes.Later he should be taken to task.

Liquor is not meant for anybody. Need control after drinking. Some people create nusiance after having quarter itself. They start to di drama. Take one bucket of water and pour on them..it's good remedy. No other option left.

This is another typical case... in the name of Policemen a drunken created drama in bus.. Funny thing is why this person is allowed to move without any enquiry ? Or for the sake of free travel till nantoor he might have played tricks... Bus staff working for public should be given proper protection by these type of people...
