Bengaluru, Feb 22: After his successful tour of the Hyderabad-Karnataka region early this month, Congress President Rahul Gandhi will resume his campaign in Mumbai-Karnataka region districts from February 24 for three days.
Gandhi is expected to speak on the Mahadayi water sharing dispute with Goa and development works undertaken by the Siddaramaiah government during his second leg of canvassing.
The Congress President will cover Belgaum, Vijayapura, Bagalkot and Dharwad districts of the state.
He would arrive from Delhi to Belagavi and address the public at Athani in Chikkodi district at 1 pm on Saturday.
He will be visiting these parts of the state for three days straight as part of our Janaashirvada Yatra, KPCC president G Parameshara told reporters in Bengaluru on Thursday.
Gandhi is likely to make visits to temples and dargahs in the next round of the campaigning too.
In the first leg, Gandhi had covered the Hyderabad-Karnataka region of the state between February 10 and February 13.
