Mangaluru: Valedictory function of state level techno-cultural fest ‘AJIET AAKAR’ held

Mangaluru, Feb 16: The valedictory function of state level techno-cultural fest ‘AJIET AAKAR 2K18’ was held at A J Institute of Engineering and Technology, Mangaluru on February 13.

Dr Shantharama Rai C, principal, presided over the function and gave away the prizes to all the winners of various techno-cultural competition event winners. Addressed the students, he said that techno-fest events will help to improve their knowledge, intellectual skills, self-confidence and expertise professionally. He congratulated and acknowledged the student participants of various colleges, and appreciated the efforts of management, staff members and students of A J Institute of Engineering and Technology for their continuous support.

Various department HODs like Dr Rajesh Rai P, Dr. Antony P J, Dr Nagesh H R, Dr Akshatha Shetty, Prof Prakash Shetty, Dr Kishore Shetty, Dr Sujaya C, Dr Shanthakumari, and Dr Shobhitha Shetty were present.

In the technical events, the overall championship was won by Srinivas Institute of Technology, Valachil, and in the cultural events, overall championship was won by St Aloysius College, Mangaluru.

Student co-coordinators Jenifer welcomed the gathering, and Prashanthi D Shetty delivered the vote of thanks. Sahala Sheik compered the programme.
