Mangaluru, Feb 8: BJP national president, Amit Shah, will be touring Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts from February 18 to 20.
Shah will arrive at the international airport here at 8.30 pm on February 18. At 10.30 pm he will reach Subrahmanya and stay there overnight. At 8 am on February 19, he will offer puja at the temple there, take part in party activists meeting at 9 am and leave at 9.30 am.
At 10.30 am that day he will reach Puttur Vivekananda College and interact with students there. At 12.30 pm he will take part in BJP Navashakti convention at Bantwal. He will address press conference at Suratkal at 3.30 pm and leave for Udupi.
Shah will take part in BJP fishermen's convention at 5 pm on February 19 at Malpe and visit Sri Krishna Math the same night or next morning. He will meet Paryaya Palimaru Sri Vidyadheeshateertha Swmiji and Pejawar Swamiji. He will stay at Udupi on February 19, take part in BJP workers meeting at 10 am, and leave for Honnavar by helicopter at 1 pm. After taking part in BJP meeting there, he will reach Kumata at 2 pm, 4.30 pm to Sirsi and then leave for Hubballi.
As the visit of Shah, which was expected to happen during March, stands advanced all of a sudden, there is confusion about the timings of his visits. Party leaders are in a tizzy at the sudden fixing of the programme during this month, it is gathered.
