Hundred Years of Apostolic Carmelites in Mangalore must have been a true blessing to our humble family because so many of our family members were educated by the A.C. nuns, and we were all fortunate in enjoying the intellectual benefits that helped us all to grow and prosper in God fearing environment in our exemplary town that was known as "Rome of the East". Thank you A.C. nuns for all your dedication towards the growth and prosperity of Mangalore where tens of thousands of students were educated, guided and influenced towards the pathway of glory and success.

It was also a pleasure to witness the presence of Dr. Olinda Pereira, Sr. Jeswina, Sr. Olivia, Sr. Maria Jyoti, Sr. Liceria and many others who graced the jubilant occasion in the company of hundreds of jubilant students and faculty members under the new arch with name boldly engraved as "Saint Agnes Convent and Institutions".

May God continue His blessings on the A.C. nuns for many more accomplishments yet to surface in Mangalore in the future, including a Home for the Senior Citizens that we are anxiously waiting for so that we ourselves might join the Institute and spend our aging life in the company of prayerful nuns and the rest of the inmates.

Mangalore has prospered ten fold under the A.C. Nuns, and we sincerely hope that God will help and protect the A.C.Nuns so that they may continue to help our City in every possible way of Education and Dedication to the intellectual world.
