Mangaluru, Dec 28: With reference to the incident in which flexes congratulating minister, U T Khader, which were hung all along Kolya in Someshwara to Lokayyapalu via Kaneeruthota were damaged by unknown mischief mongers, Ullal block Congress sought Goddess Mahakali seeking her divine intervention so that good sense dawns on the miscreants.
This stretch of the road was asphalted at a cost of Rs 20 lac on account of the minister's efforts. 11 of these flexes were found to have been torn.
Congress office bearers and activists together offered prayers in Lokayyapalu Lord Nagabrahma and goddess Mahakali temple on Wednesday. Under the guidance of Muralidhar Tantry Yedapadavu, priest of the temple, Shreevatsa Yedapadavu, prayed to the goddess and said that the mischief mongers would be nabbed within 48 days.
