Mangaluru, Dec 22: Keshava, the accused in the murder of Jaleel Karopadi, was stabbed by unknown persons at Kalladka on the evening of Tuesday, December 26. Keshava, who sustained minor injuries, is out of danger.
Many of the shops in Kalladka downed their shutters after they heard the news fearing trouble. The police personnel who arrived at Kalladka brought the situation under control.
It is said that two unidentified people came on a bike and stabbed Keshava. They wore helmets.

Keshava’s wound on the forehead was half an inch deep with 6 inch width, said his friend from hospital.
Keshava aged 33, is a resident of Veerakamba. The attack took place near a bar at Kalladka when Keshava was sitting on his scooter waiting for his friend to come back from a shop selling chicken.
Keshava was out on bail since a month.
Senior police officers are camping at Kalladka with sufficient police personnel.
