Bengaluru, Dec 16: Actor Kichcha Sudeep is a unique person. Whatever he intends to do, he does it immediately. He is not the one who will change his decision. Now he has resorted to one more popular and kind act which will be loved by one and all.
Bengaluru-based ‘We Respect Farmer’s Trust’, an organization that works for farmers had organized a special programme for the farmers at the press club. Sudeep unveiled the logo of 'Raitha Snehi Yojane' of the trust, which is aimed at creating awareness on the sacrifice made by the farmers to the society.
Sudeep vented his anger against those who are becoming wealthy in the name of farmers.
He also announced on the occasion that he will sell one of his BMW cars and give the proceeds to the trust.
Cheques for Rs 10,000 each were distributed to 15 farmers sponsored by Dairy Day Icecream to mark the occasion of its 15th anniversary.
The event was graced by eminent personalities like former Lokayukta Justice Santosh Hegde, retired justice A J Sadashiv, Gandhi Krishi Vijjnana Kendra (GKVK) retired chancellor K Narayana Gowda, lyricist Doddarangegowda and president of the trust Dinesh.
