Mangaluru, Dec 15: Friends Ballalbagh - Biruver Kudla's Dubai unit, a social service organization, extended timely assistance to two patients suffering from chronic ailments.
The organization handed over financial assistance of Rs 30,000 each to the families of Akshata, suffering from kidney failure and a poor family that is in a pathetic situation on account of stunted mental growth of its members. The families had pleaded for help through WhatsApp group and Friends Ballabagh - Biruver Kudla Dubai reached out to them and disbursed financial help.
Speaking on the occasion, founder president of the organization, Uday Poojary, said that the organization has mostly young members who are pursuing one profession or the other. Out of their monthly pay or income from business, these youngsters have been contributing to the fund every month, which is being used for helping out people going through critical situations, health problems, etc and also for education of people and welfare of desolate senior citizens, he added.
Entrepreneur, Vijay Poojary, who handed over the financial assistance, noted that Biruver Kudla as an organization, has come to be identified as an apolitical and secular organization that has undertaken laudable programmes like surival of Kambala, disbursement of financial help to weak and poor classes of the society,besides several other programmes.
Office bearers of the organization's Dubai unit, Ajit Poojary, Satish Poojary, Deekshit Suvarna, Suresh Poojary, Harsha Poojary, Shankar Jadhav, founder president, Uday Poojary Ballabagh, Mahesh Poojary, Pranesh Bangera, Kishore Babu, Kiran Shetty, Kiran Urva, Suresh Poojary, Sanketh and others were present.
