Daijiworld Media Network - Moodbidri (MS)

Moodbidri, Dec 14: "Hyder, a resident of Innoli in Bantwal, who is suspected to be the accused in the Dharegudde Priyanka missing case, has to be arrested immediately. The young woman should be traced and handed over to her parents. Otherwise, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) and Bajrang Dal will hold an intense protest," warned Somanath Kotian, convener, Bajrang Dal, Moodbidri taluk at a press conference here.

He also said, "Accused Hyder was at Dharegudde till 12.30 pm on the night of December 8, on which date the incident took place as per his mobile records. Fundamentalist organizations are either luring or blackmailing Hindu girls to entangle them in 'Love Jihad'. These organizations are involved in carrying out activities which are against the interest of religion and country."

"Concurrent to the missing of Priyanaka, cattle thieves have started their activities again in areas around Moodbidri. There is a suspicion that this might be a plan to provoke disturbances. If the police department does not take serious action in this regard, there is imminent danger of occurrence of undesirable events. The administration will be responsible for the outcome of such an event," he added.

Co-conveners of Bajrang Dal, Sharath and Suchethan Jain, senior organizer, Manjunath Shetty, sampark pramukh, Abhilash and gau raksha pramukh, Sunil Iruvail were present.
