Puttur: Youth riding motor bike killed after tractor knocks him down

Puttur, Dec 13: After a tractor hit a motor bike at Panjala near Matha village on national highway 75 on Tuesday December 12, a youth lost his life. The deceased was Arman D'Souza (18), son of Thomas from Periyadka House in Savanur village.

The young man was moving towards Uppinangady from his home in a motor bike, when the accident happened. The tractor, which reportedly belonged to a contractor firm, was moving towards Nelyady when it hit the motor bike head on. In the accident, Arman suffered injuries to different parts of the body. He was fighting for life when he was taken to hospital. But he did not respond to treatments and died in a hospital.
