Mangaluru, Dec 4: The annual festival of St Xavier ward of St Theresa Church in Paldane was held in the open grounds here. Parish priest Fr Vincent Victor Menezes who presided, spoke about the ward and conveyed his best wishes.
Local corporator Bhasker K, another guest conveyed his best wishes and handed over prizes. Diocese judicial vicar Fr Walter D' Mello, vice-president of parish pastoral council Roshan Lasrado, and secretary Veena Lobo were present.
Head of the ward, Leena Fernandes welcomed the gathering. Representatives Lizie Fernandes, Joselyn Lobo, Jerald Monteiro, and heads of other nine wards were present.
Ward members presented entertainment programme. Students who secured highest marks in school examinations were felicitated. William Fernandes, compered the programme.
