Addressing the gathering Kota Srinivas Poojary,”Beedinagudde is the one of the best examples to show how a place can change if we have strong will power. Just few years ago Beedinaguddde was in a bad condition. But now, it has developed commercially.
“Small scale industries have to be developed, so that employment will be generated and economic condition will be improved. Merit seat holders should be given jobs and not less educated people. Udupi and Dakshina Kannada district stands top in the state in the fields of health and education. Uttara Kannada is backward in overall development.
“Earlier, the government and industrialists were aware of environment pollution. But nowadays MLAs are enjoying money and power, which is sanctioned by the government. Hence, villages are lagging in development. China based products are taking over Indian products at the market. If small scale industries take it as a challenge, many problems will get solved. A businessman or industrialist should think about environment pollution, eco-friendly products,” said Poojary.
