Kalaburagi: Man finds fault with cooking, torches wife alive

Kalaburagi, Dec 1: Angered by the fact that his wife had used more oil for cooking food, a husband threw boiling oil at her face. In addition, he poured kerosene on her and ignited fire. This gory incident happened in Nelogi village of Jewargi taluk in this district.

Priyanka (22), who was the victim of her husband's cruelty, is fighting for her life in the emergency ward of Basaveshwara Hospital here. She has suffered over 50 percent burns and doctors are continuously monitoring her condition and providing treatment.

Priyanka's husband, Bheemashankar Narasakki, stands arrested by police personnel of Nelogi station. The couple had married three years back. They have a 18-month-old female child. With the father confined to jail and mother to hospital, the child is under the care of relatives.

    It seems Thripple talaq could have saved more women from the community of those who were against it. It was just a cheap politics been played it the name of talaq. Banning it doesnt actually made any changes to the targetted community since its a weakned and least practiced system.
    but here it was far more better than this heinous act.
