Mysuru, Nov 22: The video clip of the son of a JD(S) MLA thrashing a youth, which has become viral, got a new dimension after another video connected with the previous one surfaced. In the earlier video, the youngster who was being beaten up, can be seen apologizing and requesting to let him go.

The incident had happened about 18 months back but the video is actively being shared in social media now. Connected with this incident, another video also has begun making the rounds recently. In the new video clip that has surfaced now, the boy who was at the receiving end of the punishment, identified a Chetan, can be seen confessing about stealing of a golden neck chain. The thrashing of the boy, it is being analyzed, happened as a measure of questioning the accused about the theft committed by him.

Reportedly, the theft with which Chetan was involved, had happened in a shop here dealing in footwear. The shopkeeper identified the culprit based on CCTV footage, it is said, and Jayant, son of the MLA representing K R Nagar constituency, Sa Ra Mahesh, questioned Jayant about the theft. Jayant was accompanied by a few of his supporters during the questioning and beating during which they warned Chetan never to repeat such wrong things.
