Here the parents should be blamed .It is a new type of blackmailing from the boy.It is only the start find and will continue further. He has found how to get things from parents.Instead of giving him, would have from him a promise taken ,only after asking sorry for his deeds, and pormise to help or do some work,he will get as a present but not simply.Children should understand that nothing comes without putting affords.Make them understand that the value of work, studys, and money. With a I pad or smartphone ,without work, now the parents can see what is next plan.No school, nostudies?Should have make him to sit on the tree and come back and he would realize ,it was a mistake. It was a modern blackmail. Now in childage itself.
