Mangaluru, Nov 21: Chairman of Manipal Global Education, T V Mohandas Pai along with other dignitaries took part in the cake mixing programme organized by Hotel Ocean Pearl ahead of Christmas here at Ocean Pearl on Monday November 20.
Cake mixing consisting of cherries, dry fruits soaked with wine and rum was mixed as the advance preparation for Christmas cake. Nearly 50 kilograms of dry fruits was used to prepare this cake.
Vice-president of Ocean Pearl, B N Girish said, “This is a great occasion of mixing cake ceremony spreading happiness ahead of Christmas season. All are excited to prepare this cake from today which will be preserved for next one month.”
T V Mohandas Pai said, “It’s really exciting for all of us to make the cake which is soaked in rum and wine ahead of the festive season. It has been fabulous that this progaramme is being organized in Mangaluru.”
President of Vishwa Konkani Vidhyarthi Vethan Nidhi Ramdas Kamath, Siddharth M Pai, general manager, Ocean Pearl, K P Singh and others were present.
