Mangaluru, Nov 14: Sodality of Immaculate Conception of Blessed Virgin Mary (SICBVM) Mangaluru, organized a visit to St Joseph’s Prashanth Nivas Jeppu recently.
They entertained the inmates with music, group songs and also presented them with gifts and sweets. The chief guest, superior Sr Sylvia Fernandes of Prashanth Nivas said, “I really appreciate the work done by your esteemed association run by the senior members for undertaking such visits and one of them being our ashram. Every Ashram needs financial assistance even though it is very important; the inmates of every ashram need love, affection and entertainment from the society which is equally important. In spite of our busy schedule, the members who undertake such visits will definitely feel free from tension and they will have peace of mind.”
Sodality president Br Meliville Pinto said, “We got love, respect, and affection from the inmates over here. We saw their talent, which is really appreciable.”
Sodality members Br Frank M Lobo, Dr Antony S Mariadoss, Br Melville Pinto, and Br John entertained the inmates of the Prashanth Nivas by their melodious singing.
The inmates also entertained the guests. Rowena Tauro, convener, and Br Sushil Noronha rendered the vote of thanks. Br Victor Vas compered the programme.
