Hunsur: Father of 24 children dies

Hunsur, Nov 13: Puttaligowda (87), resident of Tondalu village of Hunsur district, who married thrice and fathered 24 children, died on Sunday November 12. He was the former president of Mullooru grama panchayat.

He is survived by his third wife Girijamma and 24 children. He had one child from his first wife Mallamma and two children from his second wife Papamma. After the death of both of them, Puttaligowda married Girijamma and had 21 children from her.

Among his 24 children, four are serving in the military, one is a teacher and four are engaged in agriculture. All his 15 daughters have got married. His third wife is 75 years old now. While his first daughter is 54 years of age, his last son is just 21 now.

    Respect.Still I must admire this man ,not because of his two football teams ,but he managed to marry all his daughters and bring up all of them in a respective position.May his soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathy to the family.
