Mangaluru: Amazing nature art witnessed at ‘Prakruti Kalakruti’

Mangaluru, Nov 13: ‘Akaar Innovations’ and ‘Naman Balok Jezu’ Konkani magazine's ‘Prakruti Kalakruti 2017’ was organized in the premises of Infant Jesus Shrine, Bikarnakatte on Sunday, November 12. It was declared open by Fr Wilfred Rodrigues, the superior of the monastery.

Many participants, young and old participated with childlike enthusiasm and prepared amazing nature art with the things provided. The spectators had a spectacular scene in seeing the beautiful images created purely with sticks, stones, leaves etc. It was held in junior and senior categories.

Nielesh Rasquinha bagged the first place in the junior category followed by Cyrus Pinto winning the second place. In the senior category, Wilson D’Souza won the first place with Fantino Pereira winning the second.

The judges Eddy Sequeira and William Pais had a daunting task to select the winners.

Fr Jocy Siddakatte, editor of ‘Naman Balok Jezu’ compered the event. Victor rendered the vote of thanks.
