Kundapur, Nov 10: “The Parivarthana conference by BJP state unit Byndoor mandala with the intention of moulding a new Karnataka will be held in front of Nagoor Sandeepan School here on Monday November 13 afternoon at 3 pm. Ten thousand to fifteen thousand people including all the activists of 240 booths in the constituency will participate in the conference,” said member of BJP state executive B M Sukumar Shetty.
Speaking at a news conference held on Friday, November 10, he said that intense preparations are in progress to make the conference a success. “BJP state president B S Yeddyurappa, MP Shobha Karandlaje, union minister Anant Kumar Hegde and other national level BJP leaders will participate in the conference.
“BJP is strong in Byndoor. There are no internal differences. People have identified the failures of Congress in the state. Byndoor is still lacking in development. Educational institutes have not grown for the last 19 years. Industries have remained behind. Jobs are not created. There is a need for a 100 bedded hospital in Trasi, Byndoor. MLAs in Byndoor have begun laying foundation stone for new projects as elections are approaching. Sufficient funds are released by MP for the constituency. The constituency has benefited financially from the Tarapathi bridge and Tsunami funds,” he said.
Byndoor mandala president Sadananda Uppinakudru said, "B M Sukumar Shetty is the BJP candidate for Byndoor Vidhana Sabha elections. It is also the desire of Byndoor activists. There are no differences in the constituency with regard to the candidate. Party higher ups however will have the last say.”
Secretary Deepak Kumar was present.
