Mangaluru, Nov 7: Cambridge School, in collaboration with The Travel Terminal, here organized a 13 day educational tour to the United States of America from October 6 to October 18.
36 students, four teachers and tour manager Preetham M N participated in the educational tour.
The students got an opportunity to participate in the three day ‘Space Camp’ conducted at Kennedy Space Center, Orlando. After researching how humans live and work in space, the students were tasked with building models and worked on science projects together. Having participated in the space camp, the students were proud of their enriched knowledge in space science.
They also visited few other prominent places around the country. Disney World, Niagara Falls, Niagara Power plant, Hershey’s Chocolate World, Empire State Building, Capitol Building, White House, Holocaust, Smithsonian museums being some of the places visited in Washington DC and Statue of Liberty. They also had a spectacular New York city tour.
This educational tour provided a powerful learning opportunity to discover oneself and the world. This unique structure ensured intercultural experience through many facets of the programme everyday of the tour.
